ALCOHOLIC SUGAR CUBE recipe

Alcoholic sugar cube are definitely a treat for alcohol enthusiasts. If you’re feeling cold during these winter times, they’re the most appreciated thing to taste: have one, and you’ll experience an explosion of alcohol mixed with sugar and flavors that will soon warm up your entire body.

You can prepare different combinations according to your taste, fresher ones if you use mint and ginger, or more comforting ones with cinnamon, pepper, and cloves, and so on… the choice is yours for the pairing.

 

INGREDIENTS

Pure Ethyl Alcohol 96%

Citrus Fruits: Lemon + Lime + Grapefruit + Orange

Mint and Ginger: 20 leaves of Mint + 5 slices of Ginger

Spiced Cinnamon: 2 Cinnamon sticks + 15 grains of Pepper + 2 Cloves

INSTRUCTIONS

1) Take 3 glass jars with airtight seals and place the ingredients for flavoring the alcohol inside each one.

Regarding the alcoholic sugar cube that I decided to make, the ingredient combinations are as mentioned above. As stated in the introduction, you can choose the ingredients and combinations that you prefer.

For example, some people use coffee beans or vanilla, red fruits, or raisins… as mentioned, the choice is yours.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT THE ALCOHOL YOU USE IS 95% VOL OR 95°.

WHY?

Because if the alcohol has a lower degree of alcohol, the sugar cubes will dissolve and it will be a disaster.

 

2) Fill our jars with alcohol, more or less halfway.

3) Seal the jars and wait for about 2 weeks for the alcohol to take on the flavor of the ingredients that you added to the alcohol.

4) After the 2 weeks, remove the ingredients from the alcohol and replace them with the sugar cubes.

5) If you have the patience, wait another week, and then they will be ready.

RECOMMENDATIONS: Consume in moderation.

TIPS: When the alcoholic sugar cube are finished, you can refill the jar without discarding the alcohol until it’s completely used up.
