Making pomegranate liqueur is very simple, and you can enjoy it just a few hours after making it but if you can wait few months 😉 the taste will be even better. So, without further ado or beating around the bush, let’s see how to make it.

400 ml

ALCOL AL 96%

400 ml

SUGAR

320 g

INSTRUCTIONS

1) Cut the pomegranates in half and juice them. You should obtain 400 ml of juice.

2) In a saucepan, pour the obtained juice and add the sugar. Stir and bring it to a boil until it forms a kind of syrup.

3) Let it cool completely. This is important to have a spectacular pomegranate liqueur. Don’t rush to finish, but let the syrup cool completely before adding the alcohol.

4) When the syrup is cold, pour it into the bottle using a funnel, add the amount of alcohol specified, and mix well by gently shaking the bottle.

Our pomegranate liqueur is ready to be enjoyed.

Tips: You can store it in the freezer to enjoy it in the summer, or pour it over ice cream… delicious.

One more thing, pomegranate liqueur can be made with both red and white pomegranates; the taste will be very similar, but the visual effect will be quite different.
